Electrical Engineer III

What You'll Do
As an Electrical Engineer III, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering innovative automation solutions that improve manufacturing performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical control systems, control panels, schematics, and automation architectures for custom equipment and manufacturing systems
- Develop I/O lists, cable schedules, wiring diagrams, power distribution layouts, and detailed engineering documentation
- Lead electrical and automation engineering projects from concept, design, and build through installation and startup
- Support machine commissioning, troubleshooting, testing, validation, and customer acceptance activities
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers, controls engineers, manufacturing teams, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering standards, CAD libraries, design processes, and system performance
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including UL, NFPA, and NEC requirements
- Provide technical expertise and mentorship while contributing to innovative automation and robotics projects
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline preferred
- Associate Degree with significant relevant experience will also be considered
- 6–8+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, machine building, systems integration, or related fields
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar electrical design software
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, automation controls, robotics, and machine integration
- Knowledge of UL508A, NFPA, NEC, and industrial networking systems
- Proven troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project execution skills

- Startup, commissioning, and field support activities
