IT Support Specialist- Upper Level Systems
Recruiting Solutions is seeking IT Support Specialist from in and around the Austin, TX scheduling interviews this month with the hiring team as they are making a $1.7 billion dollar investment in their Spartanburg, SC facility for EV and battery production. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of critical systems, including Production Management Systems, SAP, Oracle Data Collection and Reporting, PLC Controls (Siemens S7), PLC Visualization (WinCC), and Support Applications (NetSupport).
Responsibilities:
· Provide expert technical support for upper level systems such as Production Management Systems, SAP, Oracle Data Collection and Reporting, PLC Controls (Siemens S7), PLC Visualization (WinCC), and Support Applications (NetSupport).
· Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the Gen6 systems promptly and efficiently.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement system enhancements, upgrades, and optimizations.
· Monitor system performance and ensure optimal efficiency and reliability of the upper-level systems.
· Assist in system integration projects and support the deployment of new technology initiatives.
· Document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations for knowledge sharing and training purposes.
· Proactively identify potential issues and risks within the systems and take appropriate measures to mitigate them.
· Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements to provide cutting-edge solutions and support.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
· Proven experience in providing technical support for upper-level systems like Production Management Systems, SAP, Oracle Data Collection and Reporting, PLC Controls (Siemens S7), PLC Visualization (WinCC), and Support Applications (NetSupport).
· Strong knowledge of PLC controls, Siemens S7, and WinCC visualization is essential.
· Familiarity with SAP and Oracle data collection and reporting systems.
· Proficiency in troubleshooting complex technical issues and providing effective solutions.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
· Prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is a plus.
