Process Technician
Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Process Technician on Night Shift for a Direct Hire Opportunity with leading manufacturing company in the automotive industry in Greenville, South Carolina! Process Technician Job Responsibilities:
- Perform all duties necessary under the general direction of the Team Leader/Supervisor to maintain the assigned production equipment including setup, changeover, preventive maintenance, and minor breakdown maintenance.
- Assist in the development of new products and processes.
- Responsible for process maintenance of the assembly equipment.
- Perform set-ups and changeovers in the assembly area.
- Assist machine operators with machine start-up as necessary.
- Perform project work as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Perform troubleshooting for assembly machinery and test equipment.
- Investigate non-conforming product and make recommendations.
- Assist process engineers with process operations.
- Perform preventive maintenance per schedule.
- Train and transfer knowledge to team members.
- Troubleshoot equipment alarms and malfunctions and repair.
- Other tasks as directed by the Team Leader, Supervisor or Production Manager.
Process Technician Requirements and Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Experience with troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
- Experience with electronic controllers.
- Experience with Standard Operating Procedures, Control Plans.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience troubleshooting production machinery.
- Ergonomic Focus: Bending, stooping, and leaning at machines during 10-hour workday, walking between machines, use of hand tools (hand-eye coordination required), lifting up to 30 lbs during the workday.
