Recruiting Solutions is seeking Quality Control Sampler I for a pharmaceutical company in Greenville, SC. This is a 1st shift temporary assignment starting at $18/hr.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Responsible for inspection of incoming raw materials and outside bulk product for physical

damage, contamination, correct labeling, etc.

· Plays integral role in the Quality Control check system on the identification, coding, and quantity of raw materials/bulk product received.

· Responsible for obtaining composite aseptic samples on all incoming raw materials and bulk

product for the Chemistry and Microbiology Laboratories.

· Responsible for the collection of samples of some in-process blends and finished products from Manufacturing.

· Responsible for the collection of finished product samples from Packaging to be kept on file as retained samples.

· Responsible for the organization and packaging of retained samples to be stored in the warehouse.

· Responsible for logging and writing up paperwork on raw material and bulk product receipts.

· Will perform other duties as deemed necessary by the Raw Materials Supervisor.

Experience, Education & Skills:

High school diploma with 6 months to 1 year experience in inspection. Good math, writing skills and communication skills. High level of initiative. Science background preferred.

Job Requirements: Position requires constant standing and walking-must be able to collect samples in sample room and warehouse. Must be able to lift up to 40lbs for sampling. Must have the hand dexterity to pipette, perform aseptic transfers and other routine functions related to opening containers for sampling purposes
