Warehouse Associate
Recruiting Solutions is seeking experienced warehouse associates with a mechanical aptitude to work for a growing distribution center in the Greenville, SC area. The pay rate ranges based on prior experience from $16 – $17 and hour. You must be able to train on 1st shift for 4-5 weeks before moving to 2nd. The shifts are 8 hours with occasional overtime involved. This is a great temp-to-hire opportunity!
Warehouse Associate Duties:
- Clean, wrap up and get product ready for delivery
- Move incoming shipments to proper areas of the warehouse
- Take product inventory
- Measure product and input data into the computer
- Work efficiently as a team or on your own
Warehouse Associate Requirements:
- Prior experience reading tape measures and calipers
- Basic experience working with manufacturing hand tools
- Prior experience driving a side loader is preferred
- Knowledge of data entry and/or word processing
- Ability to read complex work orders, charts and inventory instructions
- Ability to work with minimal supervision or as a team
- Ability to learn tasks required to perform the job
- Ability to be cross-trained in different areas of the warehouse
- Must follow all safety rules and wear proper PPE
- Candidates are required to wear steel toed shoes with metatarsal covers
- Must have at least a high school diploma or GED to be considered for positions
Work Environment:
- Non-climate controlled with fans throughout warehouse
- Exposure to noise
- Normal exposure to physical risk associate with a shop environment
