Position Summary

We are seeking dependable and skilled Welders (Levels I–III) to join our team. This position is responsible for fabricating and assembling metal parts to blueprint specifications, inspecting work for quality, and ensuring safety and performance standards are consistently met. Ideal candidates will have experience in MIG welding, blueprint reading, and a strong focus on craftsmanship and precision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (All Levels)

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Inspect materials for proper type, thickness, and grade
Assemble and weld basic components to meet specifications and within tolerances
Perform MIG welding and spot welding on simple parts
Clock and record jobs accurately upon completion
Maintain welding equipment for safe and proper operation
Adhere to all company safety procedures and ISO quality standards
Clean and maintain an organized work area daily
Cross-train on other machines and equipment as needed
Move materials using forklifts or other approved material-handling equipment
Perform additional duties as assigned

Level II Responsibilities

In addition to Level I responsibilities:

Assemble and weld more complex components
MIG weld more intricate parts and configurations
Perform additional welding processes including:
Brazing
Spin Riveting
Stud Welding
Nut Welding
Entry-level robotic welding

Train and mentor Level I welders

Level III Responsibilities

In addition to Level II responsibilities:

Perform complex robotic welding, including programming and troubleshooting
Perform TIG welding and hot head riveting
Train and mentor Level II welders

Competencies

Ability to count, add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
Written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in welding techniques
Proficiency in using measuring tools
Proficiency in reading blueprints
Proficiency in basic computer skills (Profitfab)

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Ability to pass an in-house weld test
