National Staffing Employee Week 2017
Honoring Staffing Employees Across the Nation
Recruiting Solutions celebrated National Staffing Employee Week 2017 during September 18th – 24th. Established by the American Staffing Association, this week honors the millions of temporary and contract employees working for U.S. staffing firms.
In South Carolina alone, over 294,000 temporary and contract employees were employed through the staffing industry in the last year. These include positions across all industry sectors and professions. The majority are full-time roles, which often lead to permanent work with a company. These jobs are also a great way to learn new skills and make connections in the community. Furthermore, the opportunity for permanent employment is a top motivation for choosing staffing, according to the ASA Staffing Employee Survey.
“As a member of the American Staffing Association, Recruiting Solutions is proud to celebrate National Staffing Employee Week,” said Cam Varner, President of Recruiting Solutions. “It is important to recognize temporary and contract employees as a key part of South Carolina’s workforce.”
National Staffing Employee Week celebrations
Recruiting Solutions celebrated the week by recognizing outstanding employees in their Greenville, Columbia, and Florence branches. Our National Staffing Employees of the Year are featured here. The Recruiting Solutions staff also visited associates in their workplaces to deliver fun prizes and gifts in appreciation of their work.
Employees shared their personal stories about how working with a staffing company has been the right fit for them. Many people explained that their jobs through Recruiting Solutions have been a way to find permanent employment with another company. Others explained that they gained valuable new skills and experience through their work. Read about our Staffing Stars’ experiences below!
